I'm a medical anthropologist with 20+ years of ethnographic expertise working with different marginalized communities (sex work, HIV, Indigenous, sexual and gender minorities) on issues of sexuality, gender and the politics of health. I love art, design, cats, and creative writing--Bring on the Joan Didion. I'm currently writing a memoir on my five months using the Bumble dating app, which was a torrid, illuminating experience about the intersection of sex/uality, generational differences, and the digitization of everyday life.
